100% raw, Hawaiian Macadamia Nut Blossom Honey is gathered by bees from the flowers of the macadamia nut tree (Macadamia integrifolia), a native of Australia. There are many orchards of macadamia nuts on the Big Island of Hawaii. Beekeepers and orchard owners benefit mutually from their relationship as the orchard’s trees are pollinated by the bees, resulting in a more bountiful nut harvest and wonderful honey. Warmed to a maximum temperature of 118 degrees F during bottling, our honey is never filtered, only strained.
